How do I get started? UTPB Academy Application(.pdf)
Fill out the UTPB Academy Application and Residency Form
- Get the application signed by your High School Counselor or Principal and your parent/guardian.
- Turn in your application, PSAT or TAKS scores, and Official High School Transcript to the Counselor
- (If you need assistance with any of this information, please ask your counselor).
- UTPB will register you for the approved classes as listed on the UTPB Academy Application.
- Complete the application and register for classes by the deadline:
- Spring Semester - December 18th
- Summer Semester - May 21st
- Fall Semester - May 21st
- Once you have been admitted and registered for your approved classes, you will be contacted by UTPB by E-mail and/or letter to receive your UTPB E-mail account information and student ID.
- Your University ID (UID) or student ID is used to create your e-mail account.

Why do I need a UTPB E-mail Account?
- Once you are enrolled, UTPB will send all communication to this account regarding your billing, financial aid notifications, future class registrations and important dates (add/drop dates...).
- The PRIMARY COMMUNICATION will be through the UTPB E-MAIL Account
Why do I need to login in to Campus Connect?
- Once registered, you can look-up your schedule in Campus Connect
- Use Campus connect for your academic and accounting information
How do I login to Campus Connect?
- Use your UT ID and your PIN Number (provided in the dual credit acceptance letter)
How do I take an ONLINE course?
- Once you are registered for an online course, you can use the Online Checklist - http://aa.utpb.edu/reach/online/online-checklist/ to insure that you follow to appropriate steps to access your online courses and get started!
What courses are offered?
- Be sure to check with your H.S. Counselor to verify if the course you have selected is an approved course for dual credit.
